Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada held its second Express Entry draw of October on Monday, inviting 752 Provincial Nominee Program candidates to apply for permanent residence with a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System score of 772.

The round — the 448th since Express Entry launched — was recorded at 10:25 a.m. UTC. It follows a Trades Occupations draw on October 1 that issued 3,500 invitations at CRS 476.

How it compares

Monday’s PNP round issued 19 more invitations than the previous PNP draw on September 28 (733 at CRS 725), but the cutoff climbed 47 points. PNP cutoffs run high because a provincial nomination adds 600 CRS points — the maximum boost available — on top of a candidate’s base score.

The pool right now

About 229,000 candidates were in the Express Entry pool in October 2026. The biggest group — roughly 71,600 candidates — sits between 451 and 500 CRS points, ahead of about 63,500 in the 401–450 band.
