It followed a PNP round of 792 at CRS 761 on October 26, making 5,792 invitations in two days. How to read these results
Express Entry rounds vary by category. PNP cutoffs sit near or above 700 because a provincial nomination adds 600 points to a candidate’s Comprehensive Ranking System score. Category-based draws — French-language proficiency, healthcare, trades, transport and others — target priority occupations and often have much lower cutoffs. In 2026, CEC draws have ranged from 507 to 523, and French draws from 382 to 435.
The Express Entry pool stood at roughly 229,000 candidates in October 2026, with the largest group (71,600) between 451 and 500 CRS points.
