IRCC held the 452nd Express Entry draw on Tuesday, October 27 – a French-language proficiency round issuing 5,000 invitations at a minimum CRS of 407, with candidates at exactly 407 qualifying only if their profiles predated July 13, 2026, 19:22 UTC, according to draw trackers following the department’s announcement.

The cutoff fell 28 points from the previous French draw – round #450 on October 16, which invited 5,000 candidates at 435 – and is the lowest French cutoff since August 19 (5,000 at 382). Combined with the previous day’s provincial nominee draw – 792 invitations at CRS 761 on October 26 – IRCC issued 5,792 invitations over two consecutive days.

French-language rounds keep running far below general categories: recent Canadian Experience Class draws have required 518 to 519 points, while every 2026 French draw landed between 382 and 435. The category targets Francophone settlement outside Quebec and is one of IRCC’s largest by volume.

Timing note: draws are expected to pause about two weeks from November 3 while IRCC recalculates profiles for the new high-wage points – up to 100 for a qualifying job offer and 70 for Canadian work experience, as we covered when the change was announced. That makes round #452 likely among the last before the break. Details: the November 3 points change and the October 16 draw.

Figures are per draw trackers citing IRCC’s announcement; IRCC’s official rounds-of-invitations table remains the final word. Full history: Express Entry draw results.
